2. Octinoxate: Affects thyroid hormones, may cause allergies.
3. Homosalate: Penetrates skin, disrupts hormones, produces toxic byproducts.
4. Octisalate: Absorbs at high levels, linked to allergies and endocrine effects.
5. Octocrylene: Absorbs at high levels, may harm aquatic life, potential carcinogen contamination.
6. Avobenzone: Unstable, can cause allergies, disrupts hormones….

Instead, opt for a safe, mineral based alternative, like the doTERRA’s Sun Line!

Looking to relax by the pool? This spray is the perfect blend to keep you cool while soaking up the sun. On a side note, this also works wonders for hot flashes…

Ingredients:
3/4 cup Distilled Water
2 tablespoons Witch Hazel
5 drops Spearmint essential oil
5 drops Peppermint essential oil
8 oz Spray Bottle

Instructions:
1. In a spray bottle, combine distilled water and witch hazel.
2. Add essential oils to the mixture.
3. Shake to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
4. To use, spray on your skin for a cooling and refreshing scent.

Tip: Remember, if you get Peppermint Oil in your eyes, do not use water to wash them out. Simply place a cotton ball or paper towel soaked with a carrier oil onto your closed eyelids and gently wipe across your lids.
