Use seasonal holiday ingredients to make this handmade holiday potpourri!  All you need are a few ingredients, a mason jar, and twine.  Welcome guests with warming spices, orange, and cinnamon or wrap up a jar and gift to a friend.  This blend of holiday ingredients will leave your home smelling like the holidays for days!

🌲 Recommended ingredients: Orange Peels, Star Anise, Bay Leaves, Cinnamon Sticks, Vanilla Beans, Cardamom seeds, Dried Apple Slices, Whole Cloves, Whole Nutmeg, All Spice

Recommended essential oils: Cinnamon Bark, Cassia, OnGuard, Vetiver, Wild Orange, Clove, Ginger, Cardamom

Place desired herbs and spices in a bowl. Mix and assemble as desired. Add 3-5 drops of essential oil on top. Repeat oil application as the scent fades over time.

Gift Idea: Place herbs and spices in a decorative box or bag and include a bottle of essential oil.

All you need are some cotton balls, a plastic or paper bag, and your favorite essential oil (I like to use Holiday Joy).

Put 2-4 drops of essential oil on the cotton ball (Douglas Fir, Frankincense, Wild Orange, Cinnamon Bark, or Holiday Peace are all good options as well!) Place the cotton ball inside the bag with the cards, seal the bag and let sit overnight. 

Boom! Your cards will smell great and will bring a smile to the recipient's face no doubt! 

If you want to take it a step further you can make your own holiday cards! They're simple, natural and unique, just like the friends that receive them.

Another easy DIY holiday gift idea coming’ at ya! This time we’re showing you how to make soap the easy way, no fuss no muss, and make it in bulk so you can always have a fun, festive, thoughtful gift at the ready this season.

If you are anything like me, you love a great sugar scrub! This sugar scrub only requires a few ingredients and will make great gifts or a perfect item to have on hand for a little self-care treat!

What you need: 

✔️ ¾ cup white cane sugar
✔️ ½ cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
✔️ 12 drops Peppermint Oil (or another skin loving oil like lavender)
✔️ Skin safe food coloring (optional)

Combine sugar and fractionated coconut oil in a bowl and divide the mixture equally into 2 bowls. In one of the bowls add the skin-safe food coloring. If you want to add a little festive cheer, layer red and white to create the candy cane effect. 

 I love my essential oils enough to want to take my favorite smells along with me on my keychain when I leave the house. Cute right? I LOVE aromatherapy and love to have something yummy smelling on hand with me at all times.
